Announcing our venue and The Strange Attractors!

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the venue for Brisbane Twestival has been confirmed: Metro Arts!
Twestival will be spread across two spaces in the heritage-listed property: the theatre and the rear laneway. The theatre will play host to bands and other performers, while the rear laneway will provide a space to mingle with others, buy a drink or two, and see displays of work from local artists, as well as what other people are saying on twitter about Twestival.
Metro Arts is located at 109 Edward Street, Brisbane. This location is very central to everyone and we’re very proud to have Metro Arts welcome us as enthusiastically as they have to help us out with this very important cause.
We are also very very excited to announce one of our major acts for the night: The Strange Attractors! This psychedelic Brisbane seven-piece has been rocking Brisbane for some time and pulling quite a following thanks to their unique style which hints at influences ranging from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones through to Oasis and The Dandy Warhols.
